Major League Soccer All Star Game Result and Highlights

Major League Soccer All Star Game 2010 -  The highly anticipated match between the all star lineup of MLS Team USA faced off against the tough Manchester United of the English Premiere in a stellar clash of titans last July 28, 2010 in Houston Texas at Reliant Stadium. The match was the 15th consecutive Major League Soccer (MLS).

The all star performance of both team brought several close calls to each other but the savvy English Team put pressure to the defense of the MLS All Star Team to defeat the latter 5 vs 2. The two team gave hard time at each other and force each team to commit 1 yellow card violation.

Both teams showed their football prowess but it was Federico Macheda of the Manchester United who showed that he can carry his team to the big W by scoring 2 goals at the first half of the match at 1 minute and 13 minutes mark. His resilience made him the crowd favorite and earned the most valuable player award.

The rest of the goals made are as follows:

MLS Team All Star: Brian Ching at 64-minute mark, Dwayne De Rosario at 90-minute mark (Total 2)

Manchester United: Macheda at 1-minute and 13-minute mark, Gibson at 70-minute mark, Cleverley at 73-minute mark and Hernandez at 84-minute mark. (Total 5)
