Come to think of it, the Autumnal Equinox refers to the balance between the forces of darkness and light was being restored on Thursday. This is the exact time and point where the Sun’s position along the ecliptic crosses the equator, thus making the length of daylight and darkness to be probably equal from pole to pole.

If on 11:09 ET of Wednesday, the sun will be directly over the Earth’s equator, giving the sight of equal hours of day and night, the nights will then become even long on Sunday, November 7 at 2:00 am, when the Daylight Savings Time 2010 ends and the clocks fall back one hour.

People can create fun activities during the Autumnal Equinox 2010. Everyone can catch the sunrise or sunset today and look exactly the point that should be east or west of range respectively.

A lot of series of marches and walks as well as special events were being held to remember the invasion. In fact, the main festival will be celebrated the Mongol invasion back in China in1341 AD.

Apparently, many countries in the Northern Hemisphere such as United States, Canada and Europe can expect the fall to start on 22nd of September this year while countries in the Southern Hemisphere such as Australia, South America, Antartica and some part of Africa experienced their first day of fall in the month of March.
