Toyota Recall: Recent Model Lists Included in Toyota Recall October 2010

Toyota Recall: List of New Models Affected by Brake Master Problems – Over the past year, we have noticed and witnessed that Toyota has had to recall more than 10 millions vehicles for a wide variety of problems already.

And today, the Toyota Motor Corp has announced a new recall for certain Toyota Avalon and Highlander units together with a number of Lexus GS300, IS250, IS350 and RX330. Toyota will repair 599,029 units in Japan and 740,000 units in the U.S., the company said today.

Other reports are saying that the company said that the majority of the recalls are in the U.S. and Japan, with the U.S. responsible for 760,000 and Japan recalled 599,000 units. The remainder are occurring in European countries.

Apparently, the Toyota company said that there maybe a problem with the brake master cylinder cup in nearly 1.5 millions of their vehicles around the world and there are nearly 750,000 of these cars on the road in the United States.

To give you a complete list of the recent Toyota Recall:

The recalled models in the United States are:

-2005 and 2006 Avalon
-2004 through 2006 non-hybrid Highlander
-2004 through 2006 Lexus RX330
-2006 Lexus GS300, IS250, and IS350

In Japan, vehicles recalled are the May 2002 to November 2005:
-Crown
-Crown Majesta
-Harrier
-Mark X
-Alphard
-Kluger
-Lexus GS350
-Lexus IS250
-Lexus IS350

If we will try to remember, Toyota has recalled over 7 million vehicles in the U.S. over the past two years for problems with floormats, brakes, gas pedals and most recently steering. Using incentives to drive sales, the automaker had been trying to come back from the image hit it took because of the numerous recalls.

Now, the owners of the recalled vehicles will be notified of the said recall by mail in early as November. Yet, the Toyota and Lexus dealerships will replace the brake master cylinder cup with a newly designed one for free.
