LA Galaxy VS Philippine Azkals Live In Manila

This is going to be a dream match for the rising soccer team of team of the Philippines, the Philippine Azkals as they get the chance to play against the MLS champ LA Galaxy. The team arrived in Manila Thursday headed by star player David Beckham for their Asian Tour. They were then joined by the Philippine Azkals for a press conference. Media people gathered around as they cover their exchange of jerseys.
Both teams are very excited for the friendly match and dared to give each other a tough game. The event would be held Saturday, December 3 7:30pm at the Rizal Stadium with live telecast in the US via FOX soccer at 6:30am ET/3:30am PT.
Chris Bech, an avid LA Galaxy fan who is already living in the Philippines would most likely be watching the match live. He is an expat and has been in the country for 7 years. “So glad I get to see them play live again,” Chris Bech said.
Azkals captian Ali Borromeo won’t be able to play in the match because of the his knee injury but will be present in the stadium for moral support. Team striker Phil Younghusband made mention that they are going to have a tough defense because it’s LA Galaxy and they’re a strong team.
Aside from the match, David Beckham also took time to visit the former Filipino street kids in a UNICEF-supported children’s shelter in Manila being a UNICEF ambassador. “As a Dad with young children, I can’t imagine how life was for these children,” said Beckham, who’s been a UNICEF Ambassador since 2005. “UNICEF is doing incredible work for street children in Manila,” he said.
